Protomold® is shipping injection molded parts in three (3) days...
Yes, it's true. We've accelerated and scaled-up our Rapid Injection Molding process sufficiently to offer an even faster premium delivery schedule for the smaller, simpler parts that you need yesterday. The process works the same as always - your ProtoQuote® will offer the 3-day quickturn as an option if the part falls within certain geometrical constraints, and your Sales & Customer Service representative will confirm the availability of capacity at the time of order. You'll be seeing a lot more PR about this in the coming weeks, but as a Protomold customer you heard it here first.
Our minimum pricing has dropped from $1,995 to $1,795...
As if an even faster delivery option wasn't enough, we've also reduced our minimum standard delivery pricing on small, simpler parts from $1,995 to $1,795. This still includes 25 samples shipped 10-15 business days from your order.
Simple undercuts are supported...
Protomold can now support some simple undercuts in your part geometry. Here are some specifics you will need to keep in mind:

• The maximum side core dimensions are 1.375 inches long by 1.640 inches high, and the maximum side core pull length we can accommodate is 1.500 inches.
• Our process can support up to two side actions per mold, and they both need to be at the parting line.
• Currently we are only offering support for simple undercuts with our standard lead time of 10-15 business days.

Order a quick-turn and get a Protomold portfolio...
Starting in August we will ship a very nice Protomold portfolio to customers who take advantage of any of our premium quick turn options. These portfolios have been custom-manufactured for us with an embedded calculator and a tablet of graph paper -specially designed by Protomold founder and Chief Technology Officer Larry Lukis himself! One portfolio per customer - while supplies last.
Our expansion continues...
Thanks entirely to your support we have continued our rapid growth. Since our last update we have installed several new machining cells and now have over 70 employees, working three shifts and seven day per week for you. We've also just increased our manufacturing space by 13,000 square feet, a 40% increase over our existing facilities.

And we won't stop there. We're continuously working on the "rapid" in Rapid Injection Molding through internal software development and the streamlining of our internal manufacturing processes. Combined with additional investments over the coming months, the expansion of our capacity will continue - so we're ready when you need us.
